But who are these Megastars, and what are they fighting for?
A quick introduction:
STARKADE tells the story of a world in which fighting is BIG business.
Talented fighters from every region make their way to the Legion Arena to wow crowds and earn their fortune.
But there’s a bigger prize out there. A bigger Arena.
If they’re good (and lucky), fighters could be invited to the STARKADE Arena by the mysterious, celestial Magna Prime. They’ll battle against the most powerful and spectacular fighters from this world and beyond.
And the winner will be offered a single wish that could make their dreams come true, or tip the whole of existence on its head.
Over the next few weeks, we’ll be introducing each of our Megastars in turn. Maybe it’ll cause you to switch allegiances, fight for justice, or dive into the darkness like a dog bellyflopping into a swimming pool in August.
We’ll start in Ark Teknos, with Scrap Metal.

The STARKADE universe is home to creatures of wonder and chaos, and even witches who can leap through portals between time and space.
And yet, one of its most powerful legends emerged in a blast of fire from a small ill-fated village in Ark Teknos.
There are many stories about how Scrap Metal came to be.
Is she merely a fable, told to strike fear into dark hearts?
Is she a spirit, awakened to avenge those without power?
Or is she the lost girl who disappeared in the mountains many years ago?
The people of Ark Teknos tell these stories to remind each other of one thing:
You may think your wealth and influence gives you power. But if you try to step on the people who work the quarries, there’s someone bigger who will step on you.
Scrap Metal has a keen sense of justice, and isn’t afraid to fight back against those who exploit others. You wouldn’t exactly call her sociable: She’s elusive, guarded, and isn’t often spotted in a crowd. Oh, and her face is hidden behind a welding mask.
But ask a villager around these parts, and they’ll confidently tell you that she’ll be there when she’s needed.
The quarries feel safer with Scrap Metal around. But there are bigger injustices out there that may yet lure her out from her homeland, and into the public eye.
Plus, there are questions she still needs answering about who she is, and who she could become.
What are their special abilities?
If you cross Scrap Metal, you’d better be ready to feel the heat. The Child of the Quarry has the power to command a powerful fire attack that can blast through mountains. She’s a volcanic fighter, with an explosive Mega Impact combo. So, at the very least, you’re going to be running around with your hair in flames.
How long will my entire training take?
About nine weeks, which is the fourth highest among Megastars.
Are we likely to be friends afterwards?
Hmmm, Scrap Metal isn’t really one for making friends. She doesn’t trust easily, and often prefers to keep to herself. But — if you’ve got the drive and determination to punch back hard against cruel and oppressive forces — there are few better Megastars to have by your side.
Should I be rooting for them to win?
Well, I guess that depends on whether you’re planning to start up any shady mining operations. Scrap Metal is a product of the cold, flinty landscapes of Ark Teknos. Those folks bring their children up to be strong and resilient. She can be stubborn, but she’s driven to protect the vulnerable, even when the odds are long.
She’s a powerful ally to have in the battle to change this world. But that means she’s going to get attention from people with very different goals.
Whether she’s a force for good or not may hinge on the partnerships she forges, out in the wider world.
